Henry: Mo-om, I need [some object that is three feet away that I'm totally capable of getting myself].
Me: It's right there, you can get it.
Henry: But you're my mom. You just go get stuff.
Me: [teasing Henry]
Henry: Are you teasing me?
Me: Yes. It's my job.
Henry: No it's not. Your job is to clean.
Me: [pouring wine at dinner]
Ingrid: Need some wine!
Me: It's right there, you can get it.
