Two Year Stats and Party
The official stats from Ingrid's two-year checkup:
Weight -- 30 lbs (90th percentile)
Height -- 35.25 (90th percentile)
Head circ -- 49.5cm (95th percentile)
Dr. Pullman was duly impressed that Ingrid is already potty trained. She seemed somewhat skeptical when I marked on the developmental chart that Ingrid's speech is at least 50% comprehensible to strangers (because, as usual, Ingrid mostly refused to speak). And then Ingrid said, in Queen's English, "I want to sit on the table and color the paper." She also asked Ingrid what color her shoes were and was very amused by the answer, "sparkly." That's my girl.
We had a great birthday party with friends at the pool last weekend. It was a co-party with our friends, whose daughter is turning three. All of Ingrid's best buddies came, including Lily and Cate, Cooper, and Wilton and Eleanor, plus the other birthday girl. The pool provided the fun and food, we didn't have to set up or clean up, and all of our mutual friends got to kill two birthday-party birds with one stone. Win-win-win!
