Positive Peer Pressure

Our friends the Schrivers visited last week.  Baby Ruthie is now full-fledged Toddler Ruthie and Heidi thought it was super awesome that a person her own size could walk and talk.  She catapulted into toddlerhood this week with enhanced walking skills and five new words!

She can now walk across an entire room and execute advanced maneuvers like changing direction and holding an object.

And she's up to six words!  In the order she learned them:

Izzy ("izzzz")
Dada
Henry ("honWEE")
Ingrid ("ahnDEE")
Cheese ("chzzzz")
Mama

Yeah, I rank below cheese.  Priorities.

Baby Heidi was so delightful and I'm sad that her baby phase is ending.  But talking toddler is the best!  I'm looking forward to this year with her.
