Cabin 2013

This year marked Henry's third trip to the cabin, a.k.a. the happiest place on earth for a two year old boy.  In good Henry fashion, he was wary of the water for about the first two minutes.  And then he proceeded to have the best time ever in the whole history of the world.  There was swimming, fishing, skiing, tubing, playing with Uncle Eric, and water guns.  And that was just the first day.

 

Red Lake is about 25 sunfish lighter.

Boat speed: O.K.

Ingrid's first trip was just as successful, even if she couldn't take full advantage of the water sporting opportunities yet.

Alden didn't get to do much swimming either,  so he just got to hang out and be adorable.

We were lucky to have beautiful weather this year to take full advantage of the lake and the beautiful setting.  Had some very still evenings with beautiful sunsets and one especially clear night when we went out to see the sky lit up with a million stars.

 

Thanks to the Bradens for sharing their house with us year after year.  Henry only asks every day when we can go back.
