Bruiser
Hal had his 2-week checkup with the pediatrician today. The doctor pronounced him absolutely perfect (those doctors really know how to handle new parents, don't they?). She also said we could start giving him real baths now that his umbilical stump has fallen off.
We also got the official weight update -- 11 lbs 9 oz! We have an excellent eater on our hands. I can only imagine what his appetite will be like as a teenager.
The pediatrician asked if people were calling him Bruiser yet. No, thank you, but he did get a "Hank the Tank" within his first 24 hours of life.

OMG. 11 lbs. 9 oz. That is crazy good. Not only is he eating good but mom is a good provider. Hug my Little Big man for me.
